You can add a custom domain to your Planely account anytime (with applicable plans). Visit your Planely account settings to get started.

Before you submit a request to connect your custom domain, please follow these preliminary steps:

  1. Add a CNAME Record:
You need to add a CNAME record to your custom domain through your domain registrar account (e.g., Namecheap, GoDaddy, etc.). The specifics of the CNAME record required are provided in the table below.

  2. Purpose of CNAME Record:
The CNAME record should point your custom domain to our domain (planely.pro). This redirection is necessary for displaying your portfolio on your custom domain.

  3. How to Add a CNAME Record:
The process to add a CNAME record can vary depending on your domain registrar. If you are unable to locate where to add the CNAME record in your domain registrar’s interface, please contact their support team for assistance.

    CNAMEcustomdomain.complanely.biz3600

    Table Explanation:

    • Type: This column indicates the type of DNS record, which in this case is a CNAME.
    • Host: This is the domain name you wish to connect (your custom domain).
    • Value: This field should be set to the domain you are pointing to, which is planely.biz in this example.
    • TTL (Time to Live): This column specifies the duration that the record is cached by a DNS server. 3600 seconds, or 1 hour, is a common default value, but this can be adjusted based on your needs.

By ensuring these steps are completed before sending your custom domain request, we can process your request more smoothly and efficiently. Thank Ty for choosing our service!
